1997 Symposium
After the Festival, in a club near Sao Paulo we had a Dance camp during 6 days, from july 14 to 19, 1997.
From monday thru friday we had dance all day and we finished saturday with a "táncház" at the Hungarian Home in Sao Paulo.
110 dancers took part in the course.
The dancers were oriented by Sándor Tímár and his wife Böske. Three dancers from the Tímár Kamara Ensemble were helping to teach: Ágnes Haskó(Ági), Orsolya Veröcei (Orsi) and Borbála Mészáros(Bori).
All dancers learned dances and songs from Mezöföld and Vajdaszentivány regions.
There was a very good mood in the camp and the Táncház at the Hungarian Home in Sao Paulo was a big success. With tears in the eyes everybody said good-bye looking for a new gathering in 1999 in Venezuela.
